In just one minute everything can change
In just one minute nothing is the same
In just one minute the night has gone to day
In just one minute there is nothing left to say
Yet
In just on minute all things are made new

She took her love to walk awhile beneath a crescent moon
While they gazed upon the quicksilver in the stars
She told him she had lost her way among the sandy dunes
But the tide had brought her back again from somewhere very far
She took her love to sail awhile upon the indigo night sea
While they caressed the salty thick spray upon their faces
She told him she had found her way among the sand and sea
And that God had made her his own among these ocean places
Nostrils flaring like a dirt pawing Bull
oxygen to a flame it boils in its cauldron.
Feeding the raging fire it utterly consumes
annihilation of all in its path Anger has taken root.
The burden of Anger like a ton of bricks on your back
As it scalds your eyelids and your face is marred.
Anger screams , “you deserve justice and I will give it!”
yet it is only you who is poisoned and you who goes black.

The bowels of the earth are thundering.
There is no longer safety in the past. There never was.
These words of prayer are for God. I know they please Him.
“…on earth as it is in heaven…”
There is only strength to take one moment at a time.
“…give us this day our daily bread…
We have been caught unaware of fragility like a vapor in the mist.
My shield of Faith feels like a furnace because all the earth is on fire and no water to be found.
Yet I am keenly aware of the scent of flowers, grass, and dirt.
“… deliver us from evil…”
…for thine is the glory forever and ever…”
God does not slumber. Jesus is Risen. His Love never fails.
Amen.

her grey eyes so clear and intelligent
the unforeseeable future shadows our steps
her heart bleeds because others cannot see
the vast dark storm that will soon split the world in two
her ears hear the masses humming along
so immersed in their own lives that they are blinded
because she is old they do not listen
in the name of God receive the Salvation of Jesus
while you still can!

Did you like the snow when you were here or
when the harvest moon filled the atmosphere?
What about the summer sea
when you walked in Galilee?
I can see you everywhere I go
in the moon light and the snow
I see you by the summer sea
walking on the water you rescued me.

I dreamed I was flying, the sole purveyor of the spectacular beauty below
with my Eagle eyes I could see exactly where to go
I flew over the spines of breathtaking mountains and white capped oceans vast
Flying up to the High Heavens all the galaxies in my path
while the gold dust of the stars showered me like rain

The way I see the colors
got no good reason to hide.
Where the sky and sea collide
the Sunrise is on the other side.
I will die a wanderer in a foreign land.
Listen to the Living Water calling me home.
That living call bids me Come, for sure
down to the River edge
flowing so rich and pure!

The River Song shall make us glad
when the mountain’s snows melt above.
The swelling waters giving drink below
it’s melody quenching our thirst for love.
The River Song shall lead us homeward bound
where heaven and earth can never meet
Here we shall find His Kindness all around
it’s melody reveals the hope we keep.
So take me down to the River
Take me there where I may also sing
Of the beauty of your Holiness
And worship you as my King.
And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
