Midnight Hour

Time is not a matter here

            in the midnight hour

I sing to you my love song

though it be torn and tattered

I see the deep wells of wonder

of both your Love and Light

To such will be the Way of things

        beneath the looming night

Come endure the Midnight hour

where language has no name

Where Hope and Hardship mingle

With your Faithfulness and Grace

  1. I love the line, “where hope and hardship mingle”. I also read through your About, and enjoyed learning about the Blue Cordelia. It seems we have some things in common–blue is my fave color, all shades; I LOVE the seashore, recently decorated my small apartment in everything “ocean, beach, shells”; and I have some roots in Texas, as well as Eternal roots in God through Jesus. God bless you.
